We want to start with a quick but important update—and a bit of an apology! We’ve had to shift StreetsFest from our original June date, and the event will now take place on Wednesday, 2 September. We are genuinely sorry for any disruption this causes, but the move was absolutely vital to ensure we have full access to the proper shower and toilet facilities on-site. Having that essential infrastructure ready to go is massive for keeping the day safe, comfortable, and dignified for everyone involved.
However, we aren’t letting the original date go to waste! On Wednesday, 24 June, we will be running a Solidarity Pop-Up in Archway along with Islington Council and many local services instead. This ensures we are still out there providing vital support on the day you expected us, while we gear up for the full festival later in the summer.

With the new September date locked in, StreetsFest remains as focused as ever on serving as a vital bridge between people and the essential services they often find tough to navigate. For anyone experiencing homelessness, formal council buildings or clinical settings can feel intimidating and bureaucratic. By turning Finsbury Park into a welcoming hub of support, the event completely lowers those barriers. It allows folks to access healthcare, housing advice, and legal aid in a relaxed, open-air environment—a true “one-stop-shop” model that brings preventative care and professional guidance straight to the people who may need it most.

Ultimately, StreetsFest and our regular Solidarity Pop-Ups are all about restoring dignity, fostering real community, and showing what happens when grassroots organisations, local councils, and health services actually team up. Living on the streets is incredibly isolating, but the festival vibe—complete with hot meals, live music, and free haircuts—completely flips that dynamic by treating attendees as guests and neighbours rather than statistics. It’s a brilliant day that proves how we can support our most marginalised residents through genuine solidarity, rather than just charity. We can’t wait to see you in Archway this June, and then down in Finsbury Park this September!
