Urgent Winter Appeal

Every one of our many Streets Kitchens and our Solidarity Hub are seeing an increase of desperate people every week and we urgently need your financial support to keep going. Please donate.

It’s now coming up to our tenth year operating directly on the streets supporting thousands of people every week experiencing homelessness or facing food poverty across London.

With the rising costs of absolutely everything and more people facing homelessness every day, our backs are now seriously against the wall financially as we are truly struggling to keep serving in solidarity 1000s of people every week.

We now find ourselves having to appeal directly to you for financial support to keep our essential services operating. We run multiple outreaches across eight London boroughs, supporting people every night or morning, no questions asked. Without emergency support, we won’t be able to pay for hot food, sleeping bags and toiletries to give to those experiencing homelessness this winter.

No one should face street homelessness alone, and everyone is welcome at our Street Kitchens – it’s not just about food, it’s about being there without judgement to support people facing cold and isolation this winter. Help us stand in solidarity with everyone who may need our ‘services’ and a friendly face.

Our energy bills have nearly tripled, and prices are rising on all our equipment – from cutlery and plastic bags to hygiene products. In early 2022 we opened our first permanent base in the Solidarity Hub in Islington, the unprecedented rise in our running costs threatens to close us down.

100% of ALL donations go directly towards running costs – we are ALL volunteers.

We feed approximately 500 people each week

Covering the basics such as bills, transportation and food containers costs us over £400 a week to be able to reach those people.

Please, stand in solidarity with us financially if you can, or by giving your time as a volunteer.

Thank you!
